patience and persistance pays off!
I guess my patience and persistance has paid off!
The C220 is a '95, pre-facelift, Euros have been added in the last two weeks ($$) waterpump replaced, RUST FREE, Grey leather, sunroof, 148K on the clock, sexy little car! $7995 VERY reasonable price. As I walked into the office to check the price of the 220, Myron stopped me, and gave me a rather startling, but smile inducing update. :D The 450 SEL is getting a new rebuilt transmission, new fuel distributor and battery. Apparently, the other parts car, the one that does not run (major engine knock) had a fuel distributor installed on it, weeks before it was parked, so the owner took the new one off and put it back in a box in the trunk. it was driven maybe 300km before the engine packed it in. Price? free. He settled the dispute between the other tranny shop that screwed up the transmission in the first place, and he's paying for a new one .. |

I was happy to see it has it's OEM windshield still. and my camera is on it's last legs...lol |
Like I said, a matter of preference. Although the seat tracks will move the seat back far enough that there is plenty of legroom up front, you would need paraplegic-amputees in the back seats, and my hair (still have it) was always brushing the headliner when driving, I'd rather have just enough more space to seat four adults with hair and legs. I can't comment on rear-seat headroom.
