a simple question i think

anyone know where the fuse for the heater blower motor is located on a 1990 300TE? The blower motor was questionable anyway, I am sure the shaft bearings are shot but all of a sudden the damn thing just doesn't work at all. When I looked at the fuse box diagram it referenced some vague 'outside the fuse box' location, no 24 amp fuses in the fuse chamber were blown. I believe the 2 fuses inside the relay box are 16 amps. As I know the blower motor is marginal I can accept a blown fuse, and I intend to replace the blower motor once it gets above freezing here in Chicago. In the meantime, I would like to at least get the fan back to it's former crappy noisy state for the sake of my wifes warmth, but there are no blown fuses in the box ..what does that mean, outside of the fuse box? Thanks
