I think Techron has been the consensus for years

The best fuel injector cleaner is regular use of Top Tier gasoline.

Another vote for Seafoam.
Some also use it in the crankcase for a few days before an oil change to clean out the gunk.

RedLine SI-1

All of the others are pretty much just solvents. I've never had Techron work, nor Seafoam when added to the fuel as directed.

I second this. I used it with great results in our 300E.....I did a cleaning dose (whole bottle to 1 tank) then 4 tanks with a maintenance dose.

Now I switched the car to Shell V-Power without any Redline, and its running great!

Based on the super fast improvement I saw from using the Redline SI-1....taking them out would be a huge pain and cost a lot. Why do that when you can run a cleaner. Plus, what would most people that don't have multiple cars drive while the injectors are on vacation?

Injector Cleaner

I use BG44K in my 92 300E with 112k miles. I've noticed a difference in the overall performance and my in town MPG has increased from 18-20. Several of the larger domestic dealer shops in my town highly recommend the product to their customers. I put a can in about every 4-5 months.
