AC evaporator drain leak -- 300E
Thru researching archived posts, I've come to the conclusion that the water appearing underneath my front passenger side carpet flooring is likely due to the drain pipe becoming disconnected from the AC evaporator.
In fact I know this must be the issue since it only occurs after running the AC ![]() Apparently the problem is located in the console, behind the stereo somewhere. My question is, do I have to remove the whole center console to reconnect or repair this fitting? Is there another source of access to this area?? If I do in fact need to remove the console, any chance somone could post a brief primer on how to do it? Very Much Appreciated! Iodyn |
