With an Ohm meter...you should have continuity from the R 2 wire terninal to the plug..if NO , again, you have a bad/poor connection at R or a broken wire/plug.
If you bring 12 v to R and no fan, but you have fan if you jumper to the plug, you know for some reason the 12v is not getting from the R terminal to the plug. A test lamp would also work..jumper 12 v to the R and then test at the plug for that same 12v..if it ain't there, but it is at R , then you know there is a break or bad connection between R terminal and connector plug.... Think of it as Plumbing. The wire from the R goes directly to the fan motor thru the plug connector...that's it....so if you syupply 12v to R and it does not come out the other end of the wire at the fan, there is a break or bad connection... |
