Headlights and Tail lights Blink
When I open the door to the 190 the head lights and the tail lights begin to blink. An aftermarket technician test drove the car today to check out a shimmy and now I have a blinking situation.
Is there an alarm switch somewhere that the tech may have turned on when fumbling with the controls trying to get things to work during the test drive? We never use the alarm so we know nothing about it. Earl PS Its the wife's car and driver's door key lock does not work. Wife locks and unlocks car using the trunk key way. I drove car today and locked car using passenger door lock. Maybe I did something to set the alarm to "on".

Should disable when you unlock the driver's door with the key.
If that doesn't work, I believe that the alarm module (marked: Becker) is under the passenger carpet, un-plug both plugs and it's disabled.

I did try to unlock the car today having forgotten that the driver's side lock does not work. So maybe I now have it set to lock and therefore activates the alarm yet the lock position does not activate the vacuum to actually unlock the car.
Thanks Jeff... I'll check that out.
