86/560SEL front strut removal

Can anyone help with the procedure to remove the outer 12 pt 10 mm bolt holding the lower strut bracket??? I broke the inner bolt loose but I cant figure out how to get at the outer bolt.

Do I have to remove the caliper and the rotor to get at this bolt???
