GOT TO GET RUNNING TONIGHT
Hello all,
I have a 92' 300SE which I just replaced the head gasket. Trying to get the cams aligned correctlly. I have the exhaust cam where it should be but when I tried to dial in the intake cam from the crankshaft the valves seem to be hitting the piston. So I then tried to dial in the intake cam by turning the camshaft but for some reason it dosn't look right. Can an expert provide me with some information of where I should go from here. Here is the process I am following: Adjusting Camshaft Basic Position : Proceeding work Basic position of camshaft checked. Refer to Camshaft, Engine - Testing and Inspection - Procedures Adjusting
