Can W140 LCA bushings leak?

'97 S320 (LWB)....

Yesterday I noticed a few drops of liquid underneath the car. It was a very light weight oil, black in color, with no noticeable smell. I crawled underneath and took a look around and saw this liquid was dripping from the rearward LCA bushing on the driver's side. It didn't seem to be getting there from anywhere else so I can only assume the bushing is going bad. Can any one else confirm this? Thanks.

Evidently they are hydraulic, I had them replaced on my 92 500 and they told me one new one leaked when they installed it. One origional had failed but I dont ever remember anything on the ground, but it caused the engine to list.
