A/C and heater simultaneously running
 
model is 1990 190E 2.6 and when I turn on the A/C (or any air for that matter) the window defrost and side vents blow heat. Yeah, I know, do a search...I've been searching for a year now and can't seem to find anything useful. If anyone has any knowledge or has a direct link to how to address this issue, it would be greatly appreciated. I am in Palm Springs and if anyone has ever been here during the summer (which unfortunately starts in April) then you know that the 115 degree heat in a blk on blk 190 is not much fun. :confused:

Have you replaced the monovalve yet? That is most likely your problem.

not sure where i would find the monovalve or what it looks like. any help?
