Need help with 1987 190E
 

Hi All,

I just purchased a 87 190E. I have three problems.

1. When I hit a bump, there is a hard thud sound. Could this be the struts? If so does anyone have a ball park figure to replace them?

2. The drivers side seat does not lift up. Does this mean I need to purchase a new motor?

3. Dash board light no work. Any thoughts?

Before you mess around with the drivers side seat motor, check the switch. I had a similar problem and found that the contact in the switch was bad, not the motor.
