steering damper torque
 

the CD sure is hard to search through. i think i looked everywhere (steering, front axle etc) and still didn't find this info. so anybody - how much do i torque the steering damper on my 93 300e-2.8? (if in "grunts" please provide conversion to NM or FT-LBS :D )

I couldn't find a torque value either, so I reverted to the grunt system. Settled on a 2 grunt torque if I remember. 5K miles since installation and still tight.

thanks Mike, will try the two grunt settings as a last resort.
