Did I shoot myself in the foot?

About 5 months ago I purchased a used '92 400e with 97k on the odo. At about 100k I replaced the trans fluid with Redline ATF. The car now has 103k on it. About a week ago the following problem began. When first starting to drive the car after it has sat for a while ... first thing in the morning or leaving the office after it has sat in the garage at work all day ... the trans "slips" on shifts from 2nd to 3rd gear. The shift initiates and the revs jump, then it engages the gear. Does not do this on shifts from 3rd to 4th and when the temps come up it performs normally.

Any thoughts that the change of fluids may have precipitated this condition and how do I solve it?

Thanks all for the help.
