AIRMATIC on 420 CDI
Hello everybody,
I intend to buy a second hand 420 CDI equipped with AIRMATIC suspension is it a reliable system, what should I look to to check if is in good status? Any other advice is very much welcomed. |
I think its relatively reliable, but the pump and air struts are REAL expensive if they fail. As in, $2000+ US for the pump, and like $1000 US for each strut at each wheel.
We don't have the 420cdi in the USA, sadly. |
