New AC compressor

I am posting for a friend who has a 1989 300se. Needs a new AC compressor. Where is the best place to buy one? He would prefer to get a new one rether than rebuilt if that is possible. I have also recomeneded he replace the drier at the same time.
Thanks

Also make sure you flush the entire system in both directions and replace the expansion valve if the compressor failed catastrophically. You need to remove all debris, otherwise it will take out the new compressor in a hurry.

I just paid 139.00 dollars for a compressor from Duracool.
I will be installing it this weekend with some envirosafe on my 94 E420 project.
It is NEW and it matches the old one exactly. Make sure you order the correct one, it may be a 10PA15C or 10PA17C

In addition to flushing, a suction side filter would be highly recommended after a catastrophic compressor failure. I would stick with R12 on this car.
