Bowden Cable Location
 

Where can I find the bowden cable on my 1988 190E 2.3?

BOWDEN CABLE ATTACHES TO THE LEFT SIDE OF THE INTAKE MANIFOLD AND THE CABLE CONNECTS TO THE THROTTLE LINKAGE VIA A PLASTIC SNAP ON DEVICE.
THE CABLE IS ADJUSTABLE (SMALL KNURLED PLASTIC SLEEVE)
THE POINTER ON CABLE SHOULD ALIGN WITH NOTCH ON SLEEVE.

Is it in the same location on the 1990 190E (2.6)?? I need to adjust mine but I don't know where to start looking. I did a search on it but none had pictures(4 my car anyway)?? Has anyone here performed the adjustment on the 190E 2.6??? IF so could you give me the location and some advise??

I too need the get the location of the damn cable in my Euro 500SEL. Can this cable be reached from the top of the hood or from the bottom?
