does the W210 USA climate control head unit fit the Australian model

hi, i have an Australian W210 E430 1998 model. seeing as my head unit is a little worse for wear i was hoping to replace it with a new unit. the prices in Australia are ridiculous. the prices in the USA are much much better, and my sister, who is coming over in a few weeks from San Diego can bring it over with her.

i just want to know if the parts are completely interchangeable otherwise its off to the Aussie wreckers to get ripped off again.
