W210 evaporator removal
Hi all, I now know that I need a new evaporator - leaks badly and was verified to be the culprit with a big stain of fluorescent dye laced water in the garage :-( I know this is a big job and I can't justify the $2500 that it would cost in labor to pay someone to do it. I can leave the car in the garage for as long as it takes and I would like to do this myself. Does anyone have a procedure or BTDT type information regarding all that needs to be done to gain access to the evap? I am sure the whole dash needs to come out, etc. so any help with procedures there would be great too - I don't want to break the trim and stuff. Thanks in advance for any help.
BTW, this is an 01 E320. Regards, Randy... |
