bump
bump - we cut it
! warning do not cut it ! - there are 2 wires running with the fluid in the same hose... we're going to solder and shrink tube it all back together, and use a double male 1/4" hose exender to repair it, but i just wanted others to know... i don't know the proper way still, because the hose seems perminantly crimped onto the nozzels, and runs all the way down to the resevoir for the washer fliud - appears you must have to disconnect it at the resevoir and feed the tube with the wires in it all the way up with the hood - either that or cut the crimped hose clamps at the nozzels and replace them with new ones after the work on your hood is done - i would hate to have to re-route those hoses/wires through the hood again... cheers! |

We just did a 140 and had the nozzles off, but can't remember that it was a real big deal or that much different than any other Benz. If I remember, the hoses just come off the nozzles without cutting anything.
