1996 E320 Stalling
 

Hi guys,

Im chasing no end of problems on my E320. Just replaced the MAF and fixed my surging and MAF codes.

I've now got a intermitant stalling issue. Can happen at speed or at idle. Generally at idle the engine will just cut out - no warning, just clean like the keys turned off.

I will get "check battery charge" on the dash. Cranks up and starts on first attempt after wards. No Codes

Any suggestions ? I'm thinking I should check all earths, etc, alternator harness.

K40 Relay?
CPS?

Don't see how either would be the cause, with the Battery message up and the easy restart.

When it stalls , take a FP reading at the rail test port and see if that dropped to Zero.
