1996 E320 Camber Bolts

How many are required for each side?

Where do they fit ?

How can I tell if my car already has them ?

Alignment correction bolt kits secure the lower control arm. There are 2 (1 for caster & 1 for camber) on each lower arm.

Correction of approx 0.3deg of caster OR camber can be done with those bolt kits.

The original bolts have a POINT at the threaded end. The correction bolts are FLAT at the threaded ends.

The replacement WASHERS have notches that hold the control arm in the corrected position.

Do you need to get both camber and caster ? Or can you just correct Camber?

Any chance of a diagram of where the camber one goes?

The car is slightly lowered. But the rears wear very well. It just seems the inside edge of the front tires wears.

Will the small amount of adjustment be benificial? Think im running around 2 deg negative.

Doubt that 0.3deg of correction will help.

Negative camber over 1.2 deg will cause early tire wear!

The bolt kits go in the rear portion on the lower control arms to change camber.

Thats exactly what I thought. I brought the car with the lower springs and 18 " wheels on it and want to get my tires to last more than 10 000 km!

I think my options are as follows:

Obtain some stock springs.

Go back to 16 " rims.

Obtain a camber correction kit.

I'm looking at getting some 16" rims. What sort of wear could I expect? Pros and cons of each option ?
