I am buying a car in Canada, private sale. What should I be doing to prevent a posible fraud? Any precautions? is there a Canadian car fax site? Any info would be greatly appreciated Thanks Philip 87 560 sl 45k

Most Canadians are very honest.
You can contact a local broker where the car is located,
have it inspected ,give a dep. etc.
There are several ways to protect your self if necessary.

And most of them are Canadians. Are you trying to say that you are not a Canadian and trying to buy a car in Canada? That would make a big difference, though it can be and is often done.

Hello ,I am Canadian, Yea! Just a little nervous seeing I lost 14g till I got it back 6 months later, in the past on a internet car fraud. I think you would be leary too!
