hi.. my question is how much is it to rebuild a top end on a 93 300se mercedes w 140. like new valve guides new rings clean heads and gaskets and what ever comes with a rebuild to end i want to keep this car for a while thanks.

Depends on WHO does the job. I would guess $2500-4000.
The labor would run 15-20 hrs for the top end part. Add 10-12 hrs for rings. IF you remove the head & take it to machine shop....I would think $600-800. |
