190e CLUNK when engaging reverse !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
 

Please help once again guys. When I engage reverse ( auto ) when the engine is up to temperature ther is sometimes a loud "clunk" from the rear of the car. Could this be the diff/prop ??
Please help as I cannot afford another big garage bill. Thanks in anticipation.

I had the SAME problem! I just had the front flex disc replaced a few days ago and problem is gone!

Good luck. The disc is fairly easy for a mechanic to inspect visually.
