96 C280 door lock
My 1996 C280 has a problem with the driver side door lock.
I cannot unlock nor lock the car via this port. I have to use the trunk port, which locks the entire car. Is there a vaccum part that has worn out? Is it a procedure that I can perform or will my mechanic need to do this? Thanks for the help. Steve Dale 1996 C280 207,700 2001 E430 104,00 |
Check under the rear seat for the vacuum (PSE) pump. If vacuum is ok, then the door lock actuator is faulty, need to be replaced unfortunately.
