2001 E430 check engine light on/off
 
I have a 2001 E430 that my wife and I love.
Recently, the check engine light came on, then a few days later went off, then came back on again. This has continued for a few weeks.
Could it be O2 sensors, MAF, or other causes?

Could be anything, but you'll never know for sure until you scan the codes.

Places like Auto Zone will do it for free.

In most cases, the 2 items you listed are the culprits that can cause the light to do that.
