clk320 convertible top slams down- I found a broken wire
 

I found a broken wire between the top and the headliner, about where the top of the passenger's head would be. This may account for why the top slams shut instead of stopping an inch or two from the top of the windshield. Does anyone how to fix this problem? Or to what this wire should be connected? Thanks.
