DVD or CD repair manuals for W210 and W211 help
 

Tried to order the DVD (or CD) for my brother's new 320CDI (W210) ref: P-2700-210-05 and for mine new 420CDI (W211)ref: P-2700-211-07.

The MB service dealer said they do not sell them anymore.

Can some one help to find them?

I too want the DVD manual for my 1997 W210 and can't seem to find one. I'll be watching this thread for suggestions...

Call 800.for.merc and order them.

There's no such thing as "don't sell them anymore." There could be "temporarily out of stock."

Well, for the 210, in this case there is. They are "temporarily out of stock" for the rest of eternity. Call the number if you don't believe me.

i'm seeing these regularly on ebay at such a low price (relative to the MB
price) that they likely copies; they avg $25

Any one has some news on availability of manuals?

Yes, MB discontinued the W210 DVD about 8(?) months ago. Shortly after a member on Benzworld had one up for sale for $50. I wish I had got it as a backup.

Most people who have purchased the CD's on eBay have complained about the quality and completeness.

There is the alldatadiy.com service which some people seem to like. And there are the DIY postings on this and other sites which contain almost everything you need to know to do routine maintenance and common repairs.

However there is still a Star Service Manual DVD for the W211. Part No. P-2700-211-07. Call 1-800-FOR MERCedes for pricing. The W210 one was $149+shipping+tax.

Yes I am living in France and am driving european models but here it is impossible to have any documentation such as the one in the CD or DVD.

Then I am very satisfyied with the documentation for USA models because most of the major elements are the same.
I bought one for the W124, and it is OK.

Is Jack Dawson a spammer? Looks liek he has 7 posts and they may all be in this thread giving the same answer publicly to multiple people.

Ok, so I found this manual. No information as to what it ism what size, how many pages, no pictures or snap shots, nothing. The "Chat instantly for help" feature was bogus, I ask questions and they say, "All that info is in the description." and "read the reviews". I mentioned that they should ACTUALLY look at the product page and find my answers for me. ......the chat ended.

So, that was my experience....anyone have a better one? Maybe someone has ordered from these guys and is happy with the print material? (not to be confused with the CD/DVD option of which they offer none for W210).

W210 owners can go to startekinfo.com, pay $18 and download as many W210 procedures as they want.
