would you let Mel Gibson drive your car?

A friend in the NYC movie business needs to get a W123 coupe for a Mel Gibson movie.
Preferrably a blue one.

Anybody in the NYC area willing the have their blue W123 coupe in a movie?

Yes, it's a paid gig, though I don't know how much per day at the moment.

Thx -CTH
PS. If they can't find a blue one, they'll consider another color.

I wouldn't let Mel Gibson within 20 feet of my car. :D

I'd rent my slightly shabby navy blue 300cd. Its a stick though, can Mel drive a stick?

Ha I have a blue 300CD here in maryland ;)

I'd sooner rent a car to Hugh Grant.

That depends on what they were doing with it, and how much they were willing to pay. :D It seems most MB's in the movies lately have been destroyed!

Well he has the pictures so lets see what happens.

Wait, you're going to be in the movie? Will you be some kind of car-related extra, or did they decide to sack Mel Gibson and give you the lead?

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1321860/

With a title like that you might want to install some waterproof seat covers before sending it up there...

The plot sounds like a skit from a late night show....not a movie.

OMG, I almost fell out of my chair laughing when I clicked on the link and read the "plot"

PLOT: A guy walks around with a puppet of a beaver on his hand and treats it like a living creature.
