Transmission crush washers

I drained the fluid out of the pan and converter...However, I did not replace the crush washers with new ones.

I have drips from both outlets. Should I try to tighten a bit more, or should I get new crush washers? New crush washers would force a re-drain.. No big deal.

I am afraid to overtighten those screws.

Get new crush washers and torque to spec.

It wouldn't mean a re-drain, just remove the plug and quick put your finger over the opening, slip on a new washer (or have an assistant do it, and shove it back in/tighten it down, fluid loss would be minimal.

Lee, consider having the MB dealer mail you new crush washers.

And when you buy them, buy a bunch.
