euro headlamps

Found a source for the Euro lamps at a good price...only thing is they all have the pnumatic adjuster system on them....I don't know anythig about the system and if the headlamps are still a direct swap for the euros with the pnmatic adjustment system on it. Got any advice...let me know

Speaking from W126 experience, to do a full conversion, you would need to run vacuum lines and get the euro headlight-switch assembly which provides a thumbwheel that modulates vacuum to raise/lower the beams.

No need to do all that if you don't need want that feature, as they will default to the lowest angle and you can simply aim your headlights to the desired fixed-height.

They may require a different power connector for even the most basic installation--check with Phil on part numbers. Cheers, Andrew Seidel.

Yes, you can run them without vac lines. Just adjust them where you want them and then enjoy the extra vision.

Good luck,

the vacuum adjuster is a VERY nice feature to have. i recently added it to my euros. it's the frosting on the cake.

i'd just get those euros you mentioned, all you'll have to probably do is adjust them up [raise them]. they must be bosch to have the vacuum feature.

hook up the "city lights". they are pretty nice.

if you upgrade your wiring and add relays you can go with higher wattage bulbs.

let us know what you do and post a picture when you get them in.
