What is the original spark plug
used in a 2000 E320? What is the best spark plug? I've got a friends E320 that has P0300 thru P0306 fault codes. I'm gonna change the plug wires as the car has 108K miles, but I'm not sure what plugs it should have.

You will need 12 plugs for this job. You can get the type by looking up the buy parts section for Fastlane as above.
You need to remove the ignition packs - one for each cylinder. Torx bolts. There is a special tool for removing the sparkplug leads. You have a high degree of possibilities of damaging the leads with out the tool. There are two leads per cylinder. You may have difficulty getting the rear plugs out. |

I checked the Fastlane parts and the listed plug is FR8DPP33. The plug installed in the subject car is F8DPP33. In the past, the resistor plug is not recommended-hence my question.

That's been my observation also. The plug wires for this engine have 2K ohms resistance marked on the connector. This is why I question the listing for a resistor plug on Fastlane.

I'd question it, too, and wouldn't install resistor plugs.
