can some one please help me
my trans is not going into 3rd gear

I think any Mercedes automatic from a W124 will work. Starter mount must be to the drivers side. What is your transmission doing, passing third and going into 4th? Or does it shift through 1st and second and then just go into neutral?

6 cyl the starter is on the driver side, so as the 4cyl and 6 cyl 300sdl
v8 is on the pass side, so as the 300 sd, and most diesels.
