1991 300CE Mystery hose?

A pick up truck with a ball hitch backed into the front of my CE and the ball part of the hitch punched through the grill and caught a black rigid line that makes sort of a loop and then returns to the drivers side of the engine where it connects to some rubber lines. It begins and ends at the same place, it just forms one big loop around the front of the radiator.

I cant seem to find any information on this part, but the insurance adjuster called it a power steering cooling line. I want to order the part online but dont know what it is...any ideas anyone?
