High flow catylitic converter
I am about to purchase new cats for the 99 E320 and am seeing "high flow" and "standard flow" models. Price for either is similar.
Can anyone tell me if it's worth buying high flow units? I wouldn't mind having better power, I mean, who wouldn't?

Your car originally came with "high flow" cats.
It also came with cats that had an 80K mile/8 year warranty--are the aftermarket cats of that quality?

I wouldn't know how to judge the relative quality of aftermarket cats. Any suggestions? Experience? Cost for aftermarket is about $800 for the parts alone. Not sure what the dealer wants for OE.
