Tracing Vac Leaks on M103

OK. High idle problem, that I'm convinced is a vacuum leak. I have a mityvac. I plan on starting at the engine, and then working my way back. Where do I start? I'm assuming at the two little connectors at the engine, towards the front. Im planning on checking readings to see where I start losing pressure. Is this the best way to do this (besides with a multimeter to the O2 snesor). Is this right? This is on my 89. Thanks in advance.
