Sun Roof Opens when locking car
 

I recently posted re a sunrrof that opened of its own accord. I have now refined my observations as suggested by one of the replies and sure enough, the roof is actually opening shortly after I lock the doors with the remote control.

Does this mean that the roof is merely out of sinchronisation.

All advice apperciated as I've spent £300 plus on a new motor and switch.

I have had this happen when the pulse of the remote was set to 3 seconds instead of 1. The control unit thinks you are using the convience feature in reverse and opens the sunroof first then the windows if triggered long enough.

I can get my W124 to do the same thing with the key in the lock...sunroof pops up, and windows move up slightly (when they are halfway down)...
