posted earlier 98 e420 key locked wont turn......I spent all day reading posts on changing tumblers...made home made key unlock and got everything ready for when i got home. but nothing is what i expected there isnt release holes for the tumbler metal shield around hole thing no holes. ...there was snap-on ring that had awire on it..light possibly and a anthor ring that kinda threaded in dash ....without rings around switch will move all around and u can see into dash area..Do I take the whole unit out under dash??????does anyone have a post for this type of switch....
