1983 w126 AMG widebody found in junkyard!
Jury's out still. Should be an update today as he was flogged into going back to get much more details.
Sad thing is, the car had only 51k on it, drivers seat virtually BRAND NEW, so it has to be the victim of an accident, jumped chain, or an idiotic shop that screwed up the exotic motor. Has to be! http://www.peachparts.com/shopforum/showthread.php?t=264733 http://www.benzworld.org/forums/w126-s-se-sec-sel-sd/1485185-how-much-euro-manifolds-worth-c126.html |

Good news, the car has been rescued by Michael Clare (mclare on BW) and is being brought back to Southern California for a proper restoration.
Turns out it is a 5.4 widebody. Amazing that the body kit/effects, and bumpers were intact! |
