1995 e320 w124 Rear Headrest problem
 

All of the searches I've done seem to deal with the opposite of my problem. My rear headrests will not stay up. When I press the dash releaseI can hear a slight vacuum noise, but the headrests will not stay up. Any help much appreciated.

Hmm, are you giving them a good tug towards the front of the car when you put them up?

I believe so but will give that a try. I've tried both and neither will stay up. I also have a 300ce and they work fine.
