need location and how to turn 300te 89 92 190e 2.6

I have owned an 89 300TE for 3 years, didnt know there was an emergency crank for the sun roof

Every Mercedes got one.

For 190 is located in the trunk/ driver side plastic panel left side. Open the access cover and insert socket wrench from the tool kit. Placed on the hex-drive of the electric motor and turn the wrench manually to open or close the roof.Clockwise to close: counter-clockwise to open.

No way? I need to fix the guides on my roof as they have snapped and it won't go back anymore...if there is a manual crank that would be wonderful as I won't need to destroy the headliner to get past the first step...I'm subscribed.

As long as the problem isn't a jammed up mechanism, it should work.
