W124 seat heat problems

I got in my '95 E300 today, started, turned on the seat heat and drive away

I look down, mine had both lights lit up, and the pass side had both flashing

knock it down to the low setting, 1 light flashes

park the car, get back in and it works as it should...

any thoughts?

I know that if you turn on the rear window defrost and if the yellow light flashes instead of on steady, that means the charging system voltage is low or drawing a load dropping the voltage below some level set by the factory.

I think, maybe, that if the seat heater red lights are flashing, that means the same as above for the flashing yellow light.

I don't have info in front of me to know this for sure.
