Question 190E idle to fast

89 190E 2.6 a this car been off the road for about 3 months it ran find till it stall out one day after going nuts trying to find the bug it turn out to be a bad wire going to pin 15 on the OVP from the ign sw I replace the wire and the ovp now it start like it did before only now it idle way to fast about 2700 RPM and won't kick down.
The only other thing i did was move a wire that seem to be a power wire for the fuel pumps it come out a pin hole for a unused relay in the fusebox it would plug in a 2nd hole for that is hot at all time I move that wire from the 2nd hole to a better spot that it won't come out on me it also now hot with key on only.
This wire was put in by a past owner so I don't know why or how it was done
