Hi Guys,
Over the weekend my 02/S430 started to loose power in a very weird kind of way. If I stop on a traffic light and try to rev the engine it is going up to around 1200RPM and just stopping. After I try to accelerate out of the trafic light it stays in around 1000 RPM for about 3/4 sec and takes off. I've suspected that the fuel filter is gone so today I've replaiced the old one with new. Drove the car for several hours and on my way home...here we go again. The car doesn't show any error codes. Any suggestions? The car is only 62500 miles. Thanks

The most likey issue is the accelerator pedal.
Other than that, air mass & fuel pressure account for 95% of fuel mixture issues.

Quote:
What do you mean by accelerator pedal? Are you referring to accelerator pedal module located under the foot well? Thanks
