Please advise, domelight assembly R&R 95 E320 Cab

Hoping for direction.

The overhead domelight in my precious 1995 E320 cabriolet works perfectly.... but it's plastic cover has cracked beyond repair, and remains a terrible eyesore.:(

So... I seek two things: First direction to remove and replace it (tricky things these E320 cabriolets) and...a replacement for sale, in any color.

Any leads for a used replacement greatly appreciated.
If you've one for sale even better.:)

Thanks everyone, wishing you a happy & healthy new year.
David

dome light r&r

I think if you remove the two clear plastic covers over the bulbs there are screws which secure the assembly to the header panel.

Thank you so much for your reply.

As the bulb's white opaque "covers" fit flush with their surrounding plastic....just push them upwards?
Are they not held in place by (breakable plastic) retaining clips?
And, if they're pushed upwards, and then aside will the securing screws be then exposed above or next to the actual lamps & lampholders?

In addition, with the lamp "covers" appearing to only be able to be pushed upwards..... once the replacement domelight has been screwed back into place...how would I then get the lamp covers pressed back down & into their original flush fit with their plastic surround?

Sorry if this seems naive. Just want to get it right.
RPM55, again, thank you so much for your reply, look forward to your further advice.
Very sincerely,
David
