adjustable rear camber arm w201

Hello everyone,

I was fitting up my 201 with its borrowed winter wheels (they are from my 126 (8-hole's)... This would be the second year I've done this and something just occured to me. All the wheels fit fine and do not rub except for one. The rear passenger side. Sometime this past year--I do not recall when--I learned that my rear passenger side adjustable camber arm was broken...

So, correct me if I am wrong, the rear broken camber arm might be causing the wheel to rub? Its the only wheel doing it....

So if this is the problem, are rear camber arms repairable? I completely forgot to look into the thing when I learned it was broken.

As far as I gather its not like broken non-existant but broken to the point where the wheel can occasionally move back and forth if grabbed at 11 and 5 o'clock. I was able to do with once..but not since.

I believe the part that is broken is the "eye" part of it..nearest the wheel.....

I'm not 100% sure.. these probably wont help but some pics:

If anyone has any suggestions or ideas let me know.

Today, I'm going to take it up to the tire shop and get some snow tires put on the rear...I'll ask them up there if they know anything about the issue...

Much Appreciated,

Kris

All the pieces of the 5-link rear suspension are replaceable items; the parts are pretty much universal between the W124 and W202 chassis, and others.

understood, how ever these are not stock pieces. these are adjustable... unlike the stock member which is all one piece..

you can put in new heim joint ends on those camber arms, if you can find them (race car/chassis shop)

i'm assuming your car is lowered to really need these ?? otherwise could replace with stock nonadjustable camber arms, which are relativity cheap

btw is this the james dean from "the store" in cincy and also from arkansas ?????

we're decently low. I didnt put them on...so I assume that the person who did deemed it necessary otherwise they probably wouldn't have dropped the cash on them...

Thanks for the tip, that would be much easier than replacing the entire thing and most likely cost less, just as matter of finding them.

nah, I'm jamesdean from the youngstown area..name's actually Kris..lol
