M104 Belt size without air pump PLEASE
As the title say's I need the belt size for the M104 (1994) with the air pump removed.
It picked the best time to die as I'm supposed to be leaving for Chattanooga Tomorrow to buy it a sibling (500SEL) so I really need a temp fix as I wait for the new pump to come in. Does anyone have the correct info? I've been looking for hours and can not find I sold answer. The poor thing sounds like it's going to rip my drive belt to hell any minute, lucky there are three part stores with in three miles. I hope I make it. Thanks so much.

On my car, it is a 93 size (autozone belt).....the original was 95 ....you will only be able to run it though if you remove the pump as it interferes with the new belt route...
the other thing to think about here is that i have the old style tensioner, and you probably have the newer one?, although i don't think it will make a difference .... good luck !!

To close out this thread and help others in the future here's what I did.
Bought multiple belts with the intention to take back the ones I didn't use. Well, they were all extremely to short. Faced with the possibility that I was going to have to put that damn pump back on so that I could drive to the parts store was not a very appealing option to me. So I reinstalled the original belt, minus the air pump and was surprised to see what a close fit it was. After a adjustment of the belt tensioner the original belt was nice and tight. So there you have it guys, on a M104 you can remove the pump and use your stock belt.

PS- It was not the pump itself but the bearing in the pulley.

Sorry, I overlooked the M104 reference in the thread title; my link was for belt info on a M103.
