Ignition/ Tumbler 95 E320

This morning leaving from work the key would not turn to start. I managed to turn it after 15min.
I got the ignition/tumbler out
My question, is there any damage if I use a screwdriver until I get a new one? I don't know how long it takes for the dealer to make one.

Your local MB dealer should be able to get you a new ignition lock cylinder in a day or two. You will need to show proof of ownership, and likely prepay before they will order it. I wouldn't recommend starting the car with a screwdriver in the meantime. You may cause other problems.
