Spongy Brake Pedal
89 300TE, replaced the master cylinder because of a spongy brake pedal, bench bled the master, and then after install bled all 4 wheels, still have spongy feel in brake pedal, abs is working and no warning lights. Does it sound like I have a defective rebuilt master?
Thanks, Kchemers

My car is 10 years old and it could probably benefit from new hoses. I don't know of any specified replacement interval, but one check is to feel for expansion while applying the brakes.

Id go one step further and flush the old fluid. Do the system thru each wheel.
You will be amazed how much junk will come out.
