94 C280 rear defroster not working
 

Tried to turn on the rear defroster. The light on the switch was on however once I release the button the light was off. Swapped the fuse with others of the same rating, but it still doesn't work. Could it be the problem on the switch or the relay? Thanks for any advise in advance.

What?? 9 years and no answer!!!
 

I know this thread is 9 years old now but this is the same situation I am having and this is the thread I found in the search function. Hopefully someone has come across an answer for it in the last 9 years.:D Any help? Thanks.

I will take a wild guess it is a bad relay, or bad solder joint under a relay. Less likely a bad connection somewhere. Do you have a schematic? At least there shouldn't be any computer involved with it on that car!
